Who We Are

About Activate ED

The Activate ED campaign identifies top talent and provides them with tools, training, and support to make informed decisions that will have a transformative impact on student achievement.

The Activate ED campaign is a collaboration of three leading education organizations — The Broad Center, Education Pioneers, and the Strategic Data Project — that all have missions to transform education by supplying top leaders, managers, and analysts to the field.

Education is the most critical issue facing our nation today. There has never been a more exciting time to advance the important work of millions of teachers and school leaders.

When we bring school systems together with the right talent and the right tools, we can focus on what matters most: providing all students with a world-class education.

The mission of The Broad Center for the Management of School Systems (TBC) is to raise student achievement by recruiting, training and supporting talented professionals from across America to become strong, transformative leaders in public education.

Education Pioneers, founded in 2003 in response to the shortage of leadership and management talent in the education sector, attracts, prepares and advances top leaders and managers to accelerate excellence in education.

The Strategic Data Project (SDP), housed at the Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University, partners with some of the nation’s largest school districts, school networks and state education agencies to transform the use of data in education.
